In secure care facilities possession of tobacco products is also prohibited. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: This position plans, develops, and implements a comprehensive statewidebehavioral health care system for all contracted and Department of Corrections secured facilities, including treatment facilities, pre-release facilities and private and regional prisons on behalf of the Department of Corrections, Clinical Services Division. The bureau chief closely monitorsbehavioralhealthcare at all contracted facilities to ensure facilities provide for the mental health treatment of all inmates. The bureau chief will also determine program goals and monitor achievement of long and short-term objectives; develop, interpret and update policies and procedures to achieve consistency, clarity, and adherence to requirements with state and federal laws and regulations. This position directly supervises four employees.
